Networking Skills Workshop

Networking Skills is one of the most popular workshops the chamber sponsors. Participants learn everything from how to describe their ideal prospect to where to put their nametags and what to do about business cards, all without coming across as a peddler. Attendees learn how to identify their own gifts, and then how giving pays off in building long term business relationships.

This session's topic "Is There Value to Networking?"

Cost $5 for members, $15 for prospective members; includes lunch.

History: The Networking Skills Workshop, started through the Chamber’s Small Business Committee in l990, it is the longest continuous program sponsored by the committee. Networking is more than handing out your business card. Business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, salespersons, job seekers, employees new to the business world, businesspersons changing fields and others are learning how to "build their net" through networking.
