In 2005, NDCC called for 2 to 5 year phasing out of the Wright Amendment and seek immediate removal of the marketing, through-ticketing and checked-baggage restrictions as currently provided in the Wright Amendment
In 2005, NDCC was part of the Business Alliance for Good Government coalition that help defeat Proposition 1 which would have increased the authority of the mayor substantiality
At the 2004 Aviation Breakfast, Southwest Airlines announced it would seek repeal of the Wright Amendment
Celebrated 50th Anniversary and welcomed Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison as keynote speaker for Annual Meeting, June 29, 2004
Monitored progress of improvements to LBJ Freeway and North Central Expressway (High Five), construction of Bush Turnpike and Dallas Love Field Master Plan
Supported City of Dallas bond issue, including major improvements to the Trinity River corridor
NDCC web site introduced, regular additions to the conference schedule

Supported the 14-1 City Council redistricting plan
Spearheaded the establishment of the Center for Advanced Electronic Imaging
Welcomed Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, keynote speaker for the 37th Annual Meeting
Developed a committee to study and make recommendations to the city on the Dallas Plan, the city's 30-year master plan

Formed High Technology Committee
Chamber's Film and Video Industry Committee formed the Film Commission of North Texas
Sponsored annual banquet saluting high technology
Conducted trade mission to Mexico
Sponsored and organized North Dallas Trade Fair

Successfully raised funds for expansion of chamber building
Endorsed plans for the extension of the Dallas North Tollway
Studied the DISD desegregation option handed down by a federal judge and developed recommendations from the community on the feasibility of the changes ordered in the program
Began sponsoring annual health and safety fair
Began sponsoring annual Golf Classic

Worked with school and civic groups to develop affirmative action on desegregation and to diminish institutional racism
Obtained better lighting and mainenance of parks and playing fields in North Dallas
Provided the basis for selecting priority projects for street improvements by funding a professional traffic analysis of the LBJ Corridor and sending copies of the report to local, state and federal agencies
Completed NDCC's current headquarters
Urged passage of legislation for meaningful school finance reform that would allow for local control and local leeway in program enrichment
Backed the Dallas County Community College bond issue, which called for two community colleges in North Dallas
Pushed for the Royal Lane access to D/FW Airport
Supported extension of LBJ Freeway westward to the airport
With Dallas North Garden Forum, established Dallas' first Arboretum and Botanical Society
Requested that Dallas Love Field be marketed as a general aviation airport
Endorsed County Junior College bond election
Prepared and presented a list of projects for inclusion in the 1966 Capital Improvement program, including necessary flood control projects
Formed NDCC Soccer League
Presented resolution for the creation of two new council districts to assure more equal representation of North Dallas residents. Two new council positions were created.
Continued work toward better flood control measures
Endorsed enthusiastically the proposed Dallas North Tollway
Backed the City of Dallas in Dallas Love Field fight
Urged White Rock Creek Flood Study
Worked toward establishment of junior college
Traveled to Austin to back Trinity River Canalization plan
