The North Dallas Chamber of Commerce will hold its 58th Annual Meeting on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at the Hilton Anatole Hotel. Richard K. (Rich) Templeton, Chairman, President and CEO of Texas Instruments will be the keynote speaker at this event and Robert S. Shapard, Chairman and CEO of Oncor Electric Delivery will serve as the Annual Meeting Chairman.

The theme of the Chamber’s 2012 Annual Meeting is “Building Strong Companies and Strong Communities.”

Comerica Bank is the presenting sponsor of this event. Gold sponsors include Atmos Energy, Frost Bank, Hilton Anatole Hotel, Medical City Children's Hospital, Oncor, Tatum, LLC and Texas Instruments.  Silver sponsors are Jacobs and Reliant an NRG Company.

Tickets are $50 for members and $100 for non members. Host committee tables of 8 are $1250. The host committee includes an invitation to a pre-event reception with Mr. Templeton, preferred luncheon seating and a listing in the official program.  North Dallas Chamber of Commerce engages search firm to find new President & CEO

DALLAS, TEXAS (November 30, 2011) – The Board of Directors of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce has begun the search for the Chamber’s next President & Chief Executive Officer, retaining Waverly Partners, LLC as its executive search firm.  Incoming Board Chair Richard Vitale will head a 7-member search committee that will work with Waverly Partners to identify qualified local, regional and national candidates. 

 “Our committee has developed a profile with the experience and leadership characteristics of our preferred candidate,” Vitale said. “We are open to executives with backgrounds in chamber leadership, private sector, association management or related experience with a commitment to our mission to make Dallas a better place to live, work, raise a family and build a business.”

Steve Taylor, the Chamber’s previous long tenured CEO, retired earlier this year after a serious automobile accident.  Bruce Bradford, a former member of the Chamber’s Executive Committee, is serving as Interim President throughout the transition.
